FDNY Search & Rescue rope bag meets and exceeds all of the FDNY specs. The bag is designed to hold 150" of 8mm rope or 250" of RIT-900 rope. The bag measures 11" H x 6" W x 6" D. Sewn into the bottom of the bag is a 1" heavy duty "D" ring, which secures the end of the search line. The top of the bag is double flapped and has a 1 3/4" hole for quick deployment of search line. The top flap has an additional 1" heavy duty "D" ring to attach a carabineer and search line when not being used. A snap closure on the top insures that the contents stay inside the bag during use. A 1 1/2" web shoulder strap with metal spring snap for quick adjustment secures the Search Bag to the user. A 1 1/2" side release buckle is used for an emergency quick release if the user becomes tangled. All seams are pre-sewn and bound for extra strength.
